Let’s see…DIVING FOR PEARLS fifteen plus years later came out with a killer LP in 2005. Now we have TRIXIE who self-titled debut album was recorded back in 1989. I thought BOSTON was the only band that did that kind of stuff. Well, I guess there is a resurgence of past high-potency bands. Lead vocalist Ronnie Borchert takes hold of his debut production powers on this one.
His vocals are amazing sounding like vintage Vince Neil MOTLEY CRUE. The opening song “The Touch” will stun you by the voltage that is put out by TRIXIE. You can call it want you want TRIXIE will knock your socks off with their eighties-style metal. If I had to compare TRIXIE to another band I would say they are MOTLEY CRUE mixed with BON JOVI. You tell me when you hear “Love Me Now” you don’t here a hint of Jon Bon Jovi.
