If you’re a fan of Overdrive’s classic ‘80s albums, you will absolutely not be disappointed by their new material. Angelmaker is a very strong traditional heavy metal album, and one that should appeal to fans of classic metal (Dio, Riot, Iron Maiden), modern traditional metal (Wolf, Enforcer, Cauldron) and even melodic metal (Pretty Maids, Jorn). It’s good to see that after so many years Overdrive can still “let the metal do the talking.”
