Atlanta-based hair metal band Blonz released their self-titled debut album in 1990. A late (and mostly overlooked) entry in the crowded hair metal/glam metal/party rock crowd, Blonz had a sound somewhere between Warrant and Mr. Big. They weren't as sleazy as the Hollywood bands, but weren't quite as melodic as bands like Firehouse or Steelheart (though they were more polished than most). The album was produced by Kansas/Streets vocalist Steve Walsh, which may account for some of that melodic rock polish.
