Hailing from Sweden Wyvern have here presented eleven tunes of what could be termed naive attempts at anthemic traditional metal. The band here seems earnest beyond words - which admittedly is half the battle. The production doesn't sound like there was much money spent on it but they've conversely gotten a decent knob job done and certainly the guitars are often crunchy and tasty. In fact the guitarwork is probably the best aspect of this release musically.
