As far as I am concerned, Ronnie James Dio is the best heavy metal vocalist, period! He was belting out rock anthems long before most of us were even born and continued until he passed away at the age of 67 from stomach cancer. What a legend to get to know if you have not already been exposed to this master vocalist. This collection of songs gives you an overall introduction to most of RJD's work through the years. Included are songs from ELF, Rainbow, Roger Glover and Friends, DIO, Black Sabbath, and Heaven and Hell. I like the song choices but I do wish there were more songs by ELF and Heaven and Hell included on this 2-CD package.Overall,though I do like this set and would recommend it to anyone with an interest in DIO's music!!!
