Motorhead are a band that rarely disapoint. I may be in the minority that thinks that Kiss of Death (2006) was awful but other than that, even at their most mediocre Motorhead have been jolly good. In there now 35 years of rocking and rolling, Motorhead have released several stone cold classic albums. The last of these being Inferno, in my view... until now. The World is Yours might be the best Motorhead album in 15 or 20 years and there is some mighty competition in that time period (1916, Bastards, Overnight Sensation, Inferno). It's ultimately pointless trying to decide whether it tops those classic albums, it is simply another great Motorhead album and, to me anyway, a legitimate return to form. Returning to form is something Motorhead are accused of every 4 to 5 years or so, whenever the media decide that it's time to give them some credit again.
