Long-awaited 2009 studio album from the former vocalist with Tigertailz. The album combines Steevi's trademark Glam style melodies with Kiss and Ozzy Osbourne style Hard Rock. The album was written, performed and produced in Sweden with Chris Laney and Anders Ringman (AKA Platform) and mixed at Polar Studios in Stockholm during 2008. This is easily Steevi's most accomplished release to date. All the songs are written by Jaimz with Laney and Ringman except for "Don't Say It's Over" that was written by Laney with Ryan Roxie.

Artist : Steelheart
Country : USA
Release : Good 2B Alive
Year : 2008
Genre : Hard Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

While a couple of the songs seemed less than perfect other songs such as "Samurai," "I Breathe," "LOL" and "Underground" more than made up for it. The music is good, and has the type of complexity that will keep me listening happily for a long time to come.
Also, the lyrics and emotional shading of the singing attest to the fact that Miljenko Matijevic has matured. These songs are a long way from the simplicity of "Love Ain't Easy" and "I Just Want to Rock -n-Roll" and are much the better for it. I would recommend this album.

Artist : Steel Attack
Country : Sweden
Release : Diabolic Symphony
Year : 2009
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

The band was formed in the beginning of 1995. In 1998 Steel Attack recorded their first demo-tape and sent it to different labels in Europe. Steel Attack signed a record deal with AFM Records in June 1998 and the debut album "Where Mankind Fails" was recorded in Studio Underground, co-produced by Pelle Saether and released in 1999. The press agreed the album was maybe not a masterpiece, but a warning for what to come. The year of 2000 followed with live-promotion tours, supporting Edguy and playing for metal heads at Festivals as Sweden Rock in Sweden and Wacken Open Air in Germany, a lot of Gigs followed.
Diabolic Symphony" is the 5th album of the Band and is proved to be the heaviest album ever released by the Swedes of STEEL ATTACK!!!

Artist : Steel Attack
Country : Sweden
Release : Carpe DiEnd
Year : 2008
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Steel Attack is still very much a power metal band, but on Carpe DiEnd they're a heavy, angry power metal band. This is power metal like Symphorce, Angel Dust, and Thunderstone are power metal. The roots are the same, but it's a much heavier effort with a darker focus - no mighty warriors or magic swords here. It's still a melodic album (I've yet to hear a Swedish band that wasn't melodic), but the crushing riffs are the driving force (that and Ronnie Hemlin's dynamic vocals). It's also a very polished, very professional sounding album. Carpe DiEnd is definitely not your typical everyday power metal album. If you like your power metal on the heavier side, you'll want to check this out.

Artist : 220 Volt
Country : Sweden
Release : Young And Wild
Year : 1987
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

A ''best of'' compilation along with a few new tracks...

Artist : 220 Volt
Country : Sweden
Release : Volume 1
Year : 2002
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

A compilation album featuring old songs and live versions. I believe that it was only released from ''Power Play Records'' and distributed also from 220 Volt's official site.

Artist :       220 Volt
Country :     Sweden
Release :     Power Games [Reissue]
Year :           1984
Genre :       Heavy Metal
File Type :   mp3 320

Info:

It's pretty simple. If you like any one of 220 Volt's first three albums, I suspect you'll like them all. All fast paced, un-melodic and IMO unspectacular hard rock discs. If you want soaring harmonies look elsewhere, if you want straight ahead hard rock / metal ala early Europe, check them out.

Artist : 220 Volt
Country : Sweden
Release : Mind Over Muscle [Reissue]
Year : 1985
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

A Euro-metal masterpiece, 220 VOLT's third album "Mind Over Muscle" released in Feb. 1985 on CBS may NEVER be officially released on CD. I don't know if the band owns the rights and CBS may not relinquish them without asking for an outrageous payment. So as for CD releases, we only have the Metal Rendezvous releases of 220 VOLT's second album "Power Games" and third album "Mind Over Muscle". Thankfully the self-titled debut is available as an official Epic/CBS Records Japanese import (albeit quite pricey). I wish I could have bought officially released CD versions of "Power Games" and "Mind Over Muscle" from the band, but sadly these unofficial (semi-bootleg) Metal Rendezvous versions are all that's available and my LPs are VERY worn out. As far as the sound quality of these CDs, it is very good. It doesn't sound like they were taken off of vinyl. They must have been transferred from some tape source. It's such a bummer because Sweden's 220 VOLT are truly one of the greatest European metal bands of all-time and they deserve proper releases. Until then though, either buy the orig. vinyl or grit your teeth and enjoy the unofficial but well made Metal Rendezvous releases.

Artist : 220 Volt
Country : Sweden
Release : Eye To Eye [Remastered]
Year : 1988
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

If Commercial Hard Rock and melodic heavy metal is your thing - then you are in luck. This is perhaps the most underrated release ever. An incredible performance topped by soaring vocals... this is THE Hard Rock record to own. Every song on this is a Commercial Hit waiting to be recognized by the masses. "The Harder They Come", "Love Is All You Need", "Eye To Eye", and "Money Talks" could have all been major hits, but they just didn't make it for some reason.

Artist : Megadeth
Country : USA
Release : A Tout Le Monde/Sleepwalker
Year : 2007
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

"A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)", is a remake of "A Tout le Monde" which originally appeared on the 1994 album Youthanasia. The song is a more uptempo version of the original song, and features Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Scabbia singing backing vocals.[8] Scabbia stated she was "really surprised about it because 'A Tout le Monde' is a song that I've always loved. It was a big surprise for me to get this invitation—I was really honored to be part of it."[8] Mustaine chose Scabbia over three other choices because of her "reign in the heavy metal business".[8] Mustaine later stated that he originally intended for the song to be a B-side for Japan, but the president of Roadrunner Records (Megadeth's label for this release) wanted "A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)" released as the album's first single.

Philip Bardowell is rather well known amongst AOR/melodic rock circles as the lead singer of `Unruly child' having replaced Mark Free in 2001; Early 2009 found Philip debuting the "Places of power" project, his collaboration with Bruce Turgon and while one can only guess if we are to expect a follow up album Bardowell reemerges with this brand new project `NOW-Force of nature'.
