Artist : Bolt-Thrower
Country : UK
Release : Honour,Valour,Pride [Limited Edition]
Year : 2002
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

There was a time when Britain's BOLT THROWER were looked upon as one of the country's finest extreme metal exports—a band that, along with NAPALM DEATH and CARCASS, appeared the most likely candidate to give the Yanks a run for their money as the second death metal wave swept the globe in the late '80s. Some 10-11 years later, BOLT THROWER are nothing but a hollow shell of their former selves—a group merely content with rehashing their old riffs endlessly while spouting war-themed lyrics that verge on self-parody.

Artist : Bolt-Thrower
Country : UK
Release : Those Once Loyal [Limited Edition]
Year : 2005
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

The ten-song work was the inadvertent swansong of a band at the top of their game. It was never meant to be the final Bolt Thrower album at all, merely the eighth link in a killchain that began with 1988’s In Battle There Is No Law (yes, there were a handful of demo recordings that surfaced prior to that, but we’re talking full-on albums here). Bolt Thrower is an institution now, but at the time of the album’s release, they were merely a whole lot of people’s favorite band.

Artist : Bolt-Thrower
Country : UK
Release : Mercenary [Limited Edition]
Year : 1998
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Unusually, the first track of the album, "Zeroed" is rather weak by the rest of the album's standards, but the second and third songs quickly pick up the pace , intertwining quick beats with slow, crusty riffs that keep the song's pace varied for a more refreshing listening experience. These songs set a pattern for the rest of the album, which doesn't deviate too strongly from the formulas present in these initial songs. The songs all clock in at roughly five minutes, and all are chock-full of riffs that live up to Bolt Thrower's mighty reputation.

Artist : Bolt-Thrower
Country : UK
Release : Realm Of Chaos [Remastered]
Year : 1989
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

This is one of the heaviest albums ever recorded. The bottom end on this album is bigger than that of your average elephant. The guitars are tuned down to bass freqencies. In the recording of this album, the bass was actually tuned down so far at one point, the strings would not vibrate. Even Karl Willett's vocals have been electronically lowered by a harmonizer. Despite the enormous sound Bolt Thrower produce, their riffs always remain clear, and the drums snappy. There is plenty of double kick bass abuse throughout the album. The songs are memorable, unusual for the grindcore genre, with World Eater and the title track standing out as classic tracks from the album.

Artist : Bolt-Thrower
Country : UK
Release : Who Dares Wins
Year : 1998
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

The compiled material consists of the EP/extended single releases of 'Cenotaph' and 'Spearhead', the latter of which appears in an extended version clocking at almost 9 minutes. There's also an absolutely worthless live version of 'Realm of Chaos' which is fucking horrible and sounds like it was recorded with a walkman and mixed onto magnetic bubble-wrap. The only rare tracks here are that song and the two outtakes from the ?For Victory sessions which appeared on some other Earache compilation. Everything else of non-LP origin has been used as CD bonus tracks, but it doesn't matter since every song Bolt Thrower writes is just as awesome as the rest.
