While the Dreams, Dreams, Dreams and Breakdown in Paradise CDs suffer from technical issues, Lights From The Valley is the best of the lot. It has great sound all the way through. There is a bit of tape drop evident on the bonus track "Mary Lou and Me", but Bill acknowledges that it was on account of the condition and age of the master tapes. It's minimal and towards the very end of the song. There are a couple of minor tape drops elsewhere on the album, but they are barely noticeable. The sound is crisp, the guitars sound like they're right in the room with you and the mix is true to the original. This is a great improvement over the vinyl.
