There are some quite good tunes here, as the smashing opener "Open Wide The Gate" will attest. Other standouts include the catchy "Victory Of Black Steel" and "Crucified In Heaven". None of these songs are bad, and Sacred Steel remain dedicated to their evil-flavored ultra-fucking heavy True Metal. No keys, no happy melodies, just smashing riffs and a bad attitude.
