This CD suffers from all of the pros and cons of a television score. It covers selections from an entire season so you'll find a fairly broad representation of musical styles. There's the soft cymbal signaling Michael Knight breaking into some ne'er-do-well's headquarters. A reprise of the theme during "Kitt to the Rescue". Tense percussion during "Bonnie Snatched". A reprise of the theme during "Kitt to the Rescue". The usual kind of violin love melody during "Mad Love" (with, of course, a subtle refrain of the main title theme as counterpoint). Big brass during "Kitt vs. Horse". A reprise of the theme during "Kitt vs. Horse".
