Platinum - Iceman (1990)

Artist : Platinum
Country : USA
Release : Iceman
Year : 1990
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 256

Info:

I think this is fabulous heavy metal, great classic heavy metal guitar sound. The songs are well written too. The vocals are hit and miss in just a few spots, but that would be just me looking for a flaw on this CD, highly recommended if you love classic metal.

Motorhead - What's Wordsworth? (Recorded Live 1978) (1983)

Artist : Motorhead
Country : UK
Release : What's Wordsworth (Recorded Live 1978)
Year : 1983
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Recorded at the Roundhouse in London on January 18, 1978, “What’s Wordsworth?” is the most unvarnished and chaotic Motorhead record of them all. A very ragged and alive live rock’n’roll blared out from ‘Iron Fist and The Hordes From Hell’ (as they were billed for the evening’s performance) in a display of utter contempt for dynamics, professionalism and silence as it aggressive planted itself rudely right between the eyes and ears and barely moved from that position as the volume/drinks/various white substances kicked in as squarely direct hits were clocking in like crazy for the duration of their set.

Iggy Pop - Instinct (1988)

Artist : Iggy Pop
Country : USA
Release : Instinct
Year : 1988
Genre : Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

This ablum is as close Iggy has ever come to "heavy metal".It simply rocks harder than anything Iggy has done since the 70's. Several tracks are co-written with former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones and actually sound like Jone's most current band, Neurotic Outsiders, with Iggy on vocals.

Iggy Pop - Blah-Blah-Blah (1986)

Artist : Iggy Pop
Country : USA
Release : Blah-Blah-Blah
Year : 1986
Genre : Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

It's funny how people trash this album and yet praise Iggy's two best albums "The Idiot" & " Lust for Life". Without a doubt those two ARE his best and yet all three albums were produced by the one and only David Bowie.
Yes it is true that this album is very 80's sounding and that seems to be a scarlett letter for anything creative these days. The album is nowhere near as bad as some would have you believe, in fact the songs are fun and with S. Jones (ex- Sex Pistol) on some them it does rock.

Slave Raider - What Do You Know About Rock 'N' Roll? (1988)

Artist : Slave Raider
Country : USA
Release : What Do You Know About Rock 'N' Roll?
Year : 1988
Genre : Hard Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Slave Raider went for a slightly harder edge than the average hair metal act, but their accelerated boogie is unremarkable. Familiar riffs are rewritten in service to lyrics that pander to standard cliches of pedophilic lust and decadence, though the opening number ("Is There Rock & Roll in Heaven?") flirts with the religious questions all men must face: Will paradise be any fun if there are no hot, rockin' sounds in the clouds?
