 Back in the 80?s, for every successful hard rock and hair metal act, there were at least ten more that didn’t make it big. Tonight You Rock from Santa Cruz, California is one such act, and one that hair metal fans should take note of .
If you are fan of the era of big guitar riffs, and bigger vocals, you ought to give this latest a Retrospect Records Release a look. “All Comes Down To You” takes me back to the 80?s era of hard rock when music was fun, and exciting.
“Are You Lonely” is easily the best song in the lot.  This guitar work by Greg Michaels smokes on this tune. TYR covers the Elvis Presley classic, “Heartbreak Hotel”.  I like their version of this song, it doesn’t really stand up to the original, but they didn’t try to replicate the song either.
