Painside is a really interesting case. They play a style of music which I am personally very fond of and it is actually a positive sign that more and more bands come up in the forefront displaying their influences from the 80s combined with a darker atmosphere, a progressive twist and all these boiled into a modern crucible! Confused? Well, just imagine Painside like a cross between Helstar and Maiden with a little bit of Disturbed in there and you get a vague picture.
“Dark World Burden” is an instant winner and it is definitely worth checking it out while Painside’s performance is absolutely brilliant and flawless.
