Bugsy Malone, a notorious gangster who rose to the top of the food chain in 1920s New York, was the inspiration for the name & general looks of these Denver based boys.
The comparison with those times ends here as they have little to do with the NY 20s music scene. Scotty Brown & co. play full blown riff-o-rama melodic hard rock with a couple of layers of keys for good measure.
Bugsy Malone didn’t get the time to develop their sound further and record their masterpiece later on in their career as this is the only platter they ever released.
