"Hard Hitter" was Liason's third, and as far as I know, final record the band recorded. The album was released in 1992, just a year after their previous record was released, however, this record has a decidedly more melodic metal (or hair metal if you must) vibe to it.
Liason are a Christian band through and through. I doubt though that you'd be too put off by their message, they don't make it very blunt and in your face like Petra or Whitecross. The sound of the band on this album is a little heavier than previous releases by the band, and they leave their AOR sound a little in the dust on "Hard Hitter." The songs on the album are decent enough, but the songs seem to lack that hard hitting approach (pun very much intended). I did enjoy the songs "Attitude," "Hard Hitter," "Who Can Heal The Pain" and "Whatsoever You Sow."
