The Poodles lineup features members of some familiar bands in melodic rock and metal (Talisman, Lion's Share, Jekyll and Hyde), and their sound is like a hyper-charged, super-catchy mix of melodic rock icons both old and new. They've got a great mix of old Bon Jovi, Poison and Warrant as well as newer bands like Hardcore Superstar and especially Gotthard. This is music with huge guitar hooks, melodies that grab you instantly and songs that are custom-made for singing along. It's party rock, and it's fun as hell. Sample the title track if you're still on the fence. If that doesn't seal the deal, maybe you ought to rethink this whole rock thing (I kid, I kid). There's also a pretty rockin' cover of Ultravox's "Dancing With Tears in My Eyes."
