The EP has plenty of overall strengths encompassing the entirety of the record. There’s an excellent blend of synthesisers and guitars, whilst the drums add a speedier pace to ensure the metal edge of the music. Both the male and female vocals are powerful and have those perfect operatic elements to add to the symphonic atmosphere. But quite uniquely to Sinheresy, and quite possibly the best thing about their music, is the male vocals are not simply kept in the background. Particularly in the song Merciless Game, the male vocals are considerably prominent which shows a nice, fresher side to symphonic metal.
