Last Link to the World is incredibly powerful and surprisingly modern. Phil Naro takes the songs in very unorthodox directions when it comes to the vocal melody lines on some tracks. It sounds very fresh and even groundbreaking. Naro has an excellent voice and is using it to perfection. The vocal performance is very personal with an amazing amount of class. The way he writes the vocal melody lines, the way he phrases and vocal arrangements are top notch.
