The first of all the things that have to be mentioned is the change of some very important members of the band which are the drummer and the lead singer, a fact that usually changes a lot the final sound of the band especially when this has to do with the singer. Although the former line up was one of those who are called as a “super” one the new one doesn’t have anything to get envy from it just because now we are facing in MASTERPLAN two of the top musicians of the metal scene of our days: Mike Terrana (x-RAGE) on the drums and Mark DiMeo (x-RIOT) on the vocals! If you consider that you also face Roland Grapow on the guitars it is easy to realize that once again we are talking about a “dream team” line up and my expectations where really very high about this album. Well, I didn’t got disappointed at all. “MK II” is a fine work in the melodic Heavy Power Metal style that will cover all the demands of every fan of this music.
