Info:
Took me awhile to get into opeth. With their unique style of folk death metal ( that's what I call it anyways.) Blackwater park in my opinion is their pinickle album in their ever changing sound. I guess there's so much going on in their sound and in each album and Michael and co. Approach each album in a different and creative way you really don't know what your going to get a full on death metal album, folk acoustic album, or a 70s era prog record. Which I think is always a good surprise. But back to Blackwater park the first track starts off as a acoustic jam before bursting into a full on death metal opus with Michael trading off death metal vocals with clean vocals.
