The album was first released on vinyl, limited to 525 hand numbered copies (first 100 copies on yellow vinyl).

Material originally written and roughly recorded in 1989.

The CD contains 5 hidden bonus tracks - songs known from "Law Of The Streets" demo, but sang by David Nava.

In 1987 the US-Powermetalheads COMMANDMENT from Chicago won the Z-Rock Radio demo contest. Airplay, a tour, a label deal, good critics followed and the guys became fast a cultact with their album ""Engraved in Stone"". In 1989 another demo called ""No Mercy"" was recorded. So the points were set, but then the responsible label went bankrupt and the recordings never made it over the rough-mix stadium. Due to the starting Death Metal wave no new label was found and the band split up in 1990.
20 years later the old recordings are back. They were already released in a remastered version on a handnumbered 525 Vinyl-Edition in August 2009. Now the release on CD follows. In the meantime more songs were found and these ones are added as hidden tracks. There is no musical change compared with ""Engraved in Stone"". Fantastic, pure US-Power Metal is ruling. With their work the band created their own niche within the US-Metal sector. It's hard to make comparisons, but you can think in the direction of GLACIER and APOLLO RA. Anyway, the trademark of the band is of course the incredible voice of David Nava, which sadly deceased in the meantime. So this release is dedicted to him, without doubt one of the most gifted singers in 80ies and 90ies.
