This is a West Coast project from keyboardist Claes Corin and singing maestro Goran Edman. Considering the lack of West Coast releases these days, this one sort of slipped by the radar, but we managed to snag it before it disappeared. This is actually velvet smooth stuff, but veers too much to the pop side. Unlike the genre, this is not as over-produced as some other well known albums, and this reason alone, probably lends it some charm. The stripped back nature of it all, with ambient piano and subtle synth layers is an ideal accompaniment to that late nite latte, the stray blonde in the red dress, along with the warm and inviting jacuzzi. Yeah right! A few guests turn up to play, but overall it is the Claes and Goran show.
