TRACKLIST:Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : Assassins Of War Year : 2007 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Assassins of War again sticks with the tried and true. However, this
incarnation of Hirax does so with precision and power; the band picks up
where it left off with 2004's strong comeback, The New Age of Terror.
At 21 minutes, this EP feels skimpy, but at least it leaves one wanting
more.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : El Diablo Negro Year : 2000 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Southern California's legendary thrash-grinders led by the infamous
KATON W. DE PENA return with three heavy tracks of sign-of-the-goat
terror to aid your way to hell. "I See Blood Red," "Slit Your Wrist,"
and "El Diablo Negro" all laid out for your extreme displeasure.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : El Rostro De La Muerte Year : 2009 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info: El Rostro de la Muerte is the fourth album by thrash metal band Hirax and the second after the reunion.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : The New Age Of Terror [Reissue] Year : 2004 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
The Punk influences are almost gone, for that king Thrash Metal reigns
with a steel fist. 80s Thrash Metal by the pioneers for the whole
dirty, rotten mob out there in the world. Really, only people, who had
been part of it back then already (in which form ever), can convey such
an authentic feeling. HIRAX perfectly transport the feeling of the
Eighties into the new millennium, without sounding old-fashioned or
dusty.
The CD cannot fully compete with EXODUS ''Tempo Of The
Damned'', but it mercilessly blows the last DESTRUCTION albums against
the wall (sorry, Schmier, it?s like that). Who thinks that newer bands
such as THE HAUNTED und co. sound too sterile and lack feeling or still
wait that SLAYER will go back to their roots, should get this
thunderclap right away.

genuinely lovable personality into his every endeavor, Greg is one of
the few classic rockers to have found success on and off the rock stage.

Kihn kept a relatively low profile throughout the '90s, releasing
Mutiny in 1994 and Horror Show in 1996. All the Right Reasons followed
in mid-2000.
Greg Kihn also became an author and has written a
number of horror novels. His most recent project is the release of his
latest book, "Carved in Rock", a collection of short stories written by

Kihn left his hometown of Baltimore in 1971, where he learned how to
play guitar. On the streets of Berkeley, California, he had dreams of
making his fortune in the Golden Street. While playing for spare change
on Telegraph Avenue, he started a band with his life-long musical
partner Steve Wright. Soon they joined up with Beserkley Records and
started cranking out albums.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Praying Mantis Country : UK Release : A Cry For The New World [Japan Edition] Year : 1993 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
It's a wonder this band never made it big. And then again, maybe not.
Praying Mantis sounds like a progressive metal band going AOR in the
'80s. Unfortunately for them, the album was released in 1993, when both
progressive and '80s AOR were out of fashion. Remember Bryan Adams in
those days ? Add a metal edge to that and you'll get an idea of what
this album sounds like. It also occasionally recalls Gary Moore or
Journey. Several songs (including the title track) could have been big
hits-had they been released in the previous decade by a major label. And
yet... Praying Mantis has many things going against them. While they
are quite capable of writing catchy refrains, the rest of their songs
are often bland and unremarkable. (On "Open Your Heart," the problem is
reversed, with strong verses and a weak chorus). Add to this the metal
and progressive aspects, which were never popular enough to make big
hits, and the band's obscurity starts making more sense.

TRACKLIST:Artist : Cain's Dinasty Country : Spain Release : Legacy Of Blood [Japan Edition] Year : 2008 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
"Legacy Of Blood" is the first album but also the first signature of
the new French label Melodica Records. Coming from Spain, Cain's Dinasty
is a young Power Metal band who seems to be passionate by Vampires
tales and stories. "Legacy Of Blood" is not particularly original but if
you like technical Power Metal a la Angra, I think that you'll like
this release which is not so bad for a first try. Sure the band will
have to add some new elements in their music in the future to become
abit more original but right now it's already promising so who know,
maybe that Cain's Dinasty will become a famous band one day…
TRACKLIST:Artist : Gamma Ray Country : Germany Release : Rebellion In Dreamland Year : 1995 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Rebellion In Dreamland was an EP released in 1995 by the German power

departure of Ralf Scheepers.

Artist : Zanister
Country : USA
Release : Fear No Man
Year : 2001
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320
Info:
ZANISTER's new release "FEAR NO MAN" should move the band to the top
of the ever growing list of progressive power metal bands. Showcasing
musicianship, compositional integrity and riffs from hell, this Cd seems
a logical progression from the band's very well received 1999 release
"Symphonica Millennia." That Cd was called by one reviewer as "Simply
the best heavy metal album ever released."
Joining guitarists Michael
Harris and David T. Chastain once again in the band is vocalist Brian
Sarvela, formerly of The Reign of Terror. Brian's performance on this Cd
totally outclasses all of his previous recorded works.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Zanister Country : USA Release : Symphonica Millennia Year : 1999 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
ZANISTER and their debut release "Symphonica Millennia" is the musical
vision of 2 of the most celebrated heavy metal and hard rock guitarists
in the last 10 years, Michael Harris and David T. Chastain. Both are
noted for their band and solo works. However in ZANISTER the focus is on
the group effort and not the flashy guitar playing that both of the
guitarists have showcased in the past. Don't get us wrong, there is
still plenty of spellbinding guitar playing but it is only part of the
total picture. The other members of the band are equal partners and
contributors to the devastating sounds of ZANISTER.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Scatterbrain Country : USA Release : Here Comes Trouble Year : 1990 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Scatterbrain arose from the ashes of singer Tommy Christ and guitarist
Glen Cummings’ previous outfit Ludichrist with a more thrash feel and a
bigger focus on humor. Yes, Here Comes Trouble is something of a
novelty album, but the comedy is delivered over some pretty solid chops
throughout.
If anyone remembers a song from this record, it’s likely
the single and video “Don’t Call Me Dude,” a goofy but hilarious tune
about a guy who snaps when his girlfriend leaves him for a burly
lifeguard on the beach. The song goes through several movements, and the
video follows, with the band mimicking various eras of rock ‘n’ roll
from doo-wop to 1980s glam. It’s all a lot of fun, but like most of the
rest of the album, the underpinnings of the song are very solid thrash
licks.

never made it onto a Tyketto album. It also has the B-side Wait
Forever, which also features Vaughn on vocals. Finishing out the Vaughn
material are 2 live tracks. The remaining 8 songs are live tracks
featuring future Journey vocalist Steve Augieri.

8. The GameArtist : Excess Country : France Release : Melting Point Year : 1986 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Excess is one of those ‘80s bands that never acquired much of a
following despite issuing two albums of above average heavy metal. The
band’s label had limited distribution and barely any profile out of
France. The band’s French origins did not help of course in and of
themselves given the fate of other acts like H-Bomb and Warning that
were victimized by the general indifference to the country’s metal
exports outside France.
It is really too bad; Excess is a metal
treat. This is one band that is ready for some kind of a re-release.
With the increasingly scarce supply of heavy metal, Excess needs a
higher profile given the remarkable music.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Tyr Country : Faroe Islands Release : How Far To Asgaard [Reissue] Year : 2002 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Tyr is the Germanic God of courage, strength, justice, victory,
defense, and battle. He sacrifices his hand to Fenris in order to bind
him. Tyr will perish at Ragnarok when he fights the wolf-hound, Garm,
who in turn perishes at Tyr's hand.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Sweet Justice Country : USA Release : Sweet Justice Year : 2005 Genre : Hard Rock File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Frank Meyer is a man who loves his rock & roll, as anyone who has
ever lent an ear to his work with the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs already
knows, but his definition of the term goes beyond mere faster-and-louder
blamalama, and the self-titled debut album from his new band Sweet
Justice moves past the old-school punk sounds of the Cheetahs into
plenty of tasty new directions. Teaming up with ex-ADZ bassist Bruce
Duff and drummer Chris Markwood (who kept time for the Bellrays), Meyer
and Sweet Justice deliver the high-powered goods on tunes like the
bitter "Sold Me Out" and the blazing "Blood and Alcohol," but the trio
offers plenty more for your entertainment dollar --
straight-from-the-gut blues ("True to You," "Travellin' Blues"), '70s
style party shakers ("Outta Site," "Last Night"), Thin Lizzy-on-speed
power ballads ("Johnny Rico and the Kid"), deep-space dub ("Hey
Christina"), and high-gloss pop production pieces ("If You Look Like a
Star," with guest vocals from Save Ferris belter Monique Powell).
Band is still alive & kicking and touring as ''The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs'' you can get more info here: http://www.facebook.com/TheStreetwalkinCheetahs
TRACKLIST:Artist : Sweet F.A. Country : USA Release : Stick To Your Guns Year : 1990 Genre : Hard Rock File Type : mp3 320 Info: One of the many bands lost in the shuffle of the grunge movement of the early 90's was Indianapolis natives Sweet F.A.
There
are some excellent tunes on this disc that still hold up pretty well
today. Prince of the City is a great high energy track to start this
disc off with. Nothin’ For Nothin’ is another sleazy rocker that reminds
me of the Bullet Boys quite a bit. The beat and groove of Rhythm of
Action is killer. Whiskey River is a powerful rocker in the vein of Skid
Row. The acoustic power ballad Heart of Gold is easily as good as
anything you heard from the more successful bands of the era (Warrant,
Poison, Cinderella). This disc ends with the acoustic track Southern
Comfort. This is a very cool song to end this disc with.
TRACKLIST:Artist : Sweet F.A. Country : USA Release : Temptation Year : 1991 Genre : Hard Rock File Type : mp3 320 Info: Not as good as their first cd. There still a good band. Big fan of metal love hair metal keep rockin people
TRACKLIST:Artist : Pantera Country : USA Release : aLIVE And Hostile [EP] Year : 1994 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info: This is a nice little Live ep of tracks all taken from their "official" debut,Cowboys From Hell!
The
sound is excellent on all of the tracks. It sounds like the first 2 are
from the Monsters Of Rock in Russia, then the next 2 sound like they
are from that Foundations Forum show or whatever it's called off the CFH
home video. I know for sure that Heresy is because at the end it's got
that exact same "Pantera fu%$ing rips, aarrgghhh" at the end.
