Keepsakes - A Collection (2006 UK 2-CD album set comprising a 36-track
collection of their biggest & best hits, rarities, favourite live
recordings & BBC sessions compiled by Julianne Regan including
'Martha's Harbour', 4 previously unavailable recordings alongside 4
exclusive recordings featuring Re-workings of the classics 'Empty
Dancehall' & 'What Kind Of Fool' and 2 brand-new tracks 'Keepsakes'
& 'Raindrops', complete with 20-page photo booklet packed with
photos from Julianne's personal archives, handwritten lyrics, extensive
sleevenotes and more...). Im not a big fan of compilations but for the
price of £3 I was easily tempted as basically I was after the stuff not
available elsewhere. FANTASTIC.

Scarlet and Other Stories is the second studio album by All About Eve.
It is widely held to be considerably darker both in tone and lyrics
than their first album, All About Eve. Possible reasons for this
included the disintegration of the (both personal and professional)
relationship between Julianne Regan (lead singer) and Tim Bricheno (lead
guitarist) during the album's recording and production. Regan actually
suffered something of a breakdown during this time and later stated that
she hadn't wept as much in her life as she had during the making this

In terms of
commercial success, Scarlet and Other Stories didn't quite match that of
their first album; however, it still made it to No. 9 in the UK charts
with three Top 40 singles resulting from it.

Ultraviolet is the fourth studio album by All About Eve. It was the
only album that the band released with MCA. Despite quite positive
reviews at the time this album was not commercially successful, reaching
only #36 on the UK charts. The two singles only reached, respectively,
#38 and #57 in the UK singles charts. As a consequence of this, the band
were dropped by MCA shortly afterwards.
"Outshine the Sun" is
frequently used at the band's gigs for a finale. "Some Finer Day" was
the last single released by the band for twelve years, "Let Me Go Home"
being the next one in 2004

Touched by Jesus is the third studio album by All About Eve. It was
the first album to feature Church guitarist Marty Willson-Piper on
guitars. Despite this, the album fell short of the commercial
achievements of both the first album and Scarlet and Other Stories only
reaching No. 17 in the UK charts. Of the three singles released only
"Farewell Mr Sorrow" charted, reaching No. 36.
