Info:

2009 album from the veteran melodic Hard Rock band. House Of Lords debuted in 1989 with the release of the self-titled album, a record which is still regarded as one of the best Arena Rock releases of the '80s. The colossal sound, the soaring vocals of James Christian and instrumental capabilities of the band, reminiscent of such frontrunners as Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Van Halen, immediately brought the band to the attention of the media and fans.

House Of Lords - Anthology (2008)

House of Lords was formed in 1987 by former Angel member and keyboardist Gregg Giuffria from his solo project Giuffria. After listening to demo -originally for Giuffria's third record- a record deal with Gene Simmons' company Simmons Record was agreed, on Simmon's condition that the band's name was changed (to House of Lords) and a new lead singer recruited. James Christian thus replaced David Glen Eisley, after Christian was suggested by bassist Chuck Wright, after having worked together in L.A. Rocks.
House of Lords' eponymous debut was released in 1988, featuring a heavier sound than Giuffria with a lower keyboard mix. The album received critical acclaim and the band toured with both Cheap Trick and the Scorpions in 1989.
The album featured one major hit, "I Wanna Be Loved" (Hot 100 #58). The Stan Bush penned "Love Don't Lie" was the second single but despite MTV airplay failed to chart. After touring, original guitarist Lanny Cordola left in 1990, replaced by ex Shark Island's Michael Guy.
House of Lords is a hard rock/AOR band from Los Angeles, California.
Anthology is a compilation of rare demos and live recordings by House of Lords, released on October 14, 2008.
The album was mixed and produced by the band's original drummer Ken Mary.
