Originally released in February of 2006, the four volume Rarities/Revelations was a Limited Signature Edition (500 copies) set. Those copies are long gone, and now sell for exorbitant prices when showing up in collectible auctions. Each volume of this set chronicles choice cuts of demo, live, or alternate recordings from one of four eras of band life. The tracks were compiled and edited by Adam Pedersen and the voice of Saviour Machine, Eric Clayton who searched relentlessly through their own personal archives of rare Saviour Machine material. Other tracks were culled from the collections of numerous, avid Saviour Machine fans who also shared the desire to have a comprehensive collection of the best of rare and exclusive Saviour Machine material. The result is four Discs of five hours of music.

Artist : Saviour Machine
Country : USA
Release : II
Year : 1994
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Saviour machine is one of those bands that in the national spotlight, never get the attention they deserve. In a world of Britney Spears, N'Sync, DMX & Limp Bizkit, they stand out as a truly refreshing concoction of Metal, Classical, & even (gulp) Opera music. But WAIT! Before you stop there with that funny look on your face, read the rest of this review. This is not Metallica's S&M with Pavarotti singing the lead vocals, ok? Try to hear in your mind a mix of old Queensryche, mixing with John Williams or Wagner (the classical composer) & throwing in a voice with Bowie-ish quality but stronger & more classically trained. Add to that some samples & "special effect" soundbytes & that is about as close as I can come to describing what they sound like, and that's not even totally accurate! They are truly unique, they cannot be lumped in with any ONE band stylistically or even lyrically. The main theme of their songs (or compositions), tell the story of the Apocalypse, the backwardness of our world, & the glory of Christ.

Artist : Saviour Machine
Country : USA
Release : Saviour Machine
Year : 1993
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

They're most commonly refered to as a Goth band, but their influences cover a wide range. On this album you'll hear a bit of Goth, Metal, Progressive (experimental, not that they sound like Dream Theater), Classical, Opera, Middle Eastern and Sountrack. Imagine if Andrew Loyd Webber got together with Members of The Nephilim, Dead can Dance, Iron Maiden, The Cure and Pink Floyd and had a singer who was a prophet from outer space. They may be Christians, but don't think this is a "christian rock band" like Delirious?, DC Talk and Jars Of Clay. They're far from a church-friendly band. The singer, Eric Clayton drinks "blood" and sets the UN flag on fire during live performances! Even today they are outcasts in the CCM industry. Get this album, you won't regret it.
