Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : Live... In The Raw [Reissue]
Year : 1987
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Blackie Lawless, Chris Holmes, Johny Rod and Steve Riley rock this album from beginning to end. Blackie's unique voice sounds as good on stage as he does in the studio. This album closed the door on the 'classic' W.A.S.P. sound. Beginning with their next album "Headless Children' W.A.S.P. would leave behind the sex, drugs, and rock n roll mindlessness and begin writing music in a more serious direction. However this was a hell of a way to go.

Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : The Headless Children [Japan Edition]
Year : 1989
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

The Headless Children is a very strong album from W.A.S.P. and certainly among their best. This album was certainly a welcome surprise upon its release after their previous uneven studio album Inside The Electric Circus and their okay live album Live...In The Raw. Blackie Lawless wanted to go in a heavier and more serious direction on this album and most of the time it works. The lyrics on this album are certainly among his best and only their next album The Crimson Idol rivals its intensity.

Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : The Last Command [Japan Edition]
Year : 1985
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

In 1985 W.A.S.P. released their second album "The Last Command" which was a minor hit with a couple of tracks that had popular videos on mtv, those being Wild Child and Blind in Texas.Considering the 1980's was when this kind of music ruled the charts,it disappoints that this group was not more popular than they where. WASP is a killer band, who put out many great albums, do yourself a favor and by this CD you will not be disappointed. 1990's issues of this album have bonus cuts. The original Capitol records release only contained 10 songs.

Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : The Sting
Year : 2000
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Recorded for a webcast during the "Helldorado" tour, the sound quality is fair.
Yes this release (#13) has flaws, but it's honest: no touch-ups, no gimmicks. Odd that Blackie and his cohorts don't perform any song from "Still Not Black Enough" or "K.F.D.".

Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : W.A.S.P [Japan Edition]
Year : 1984
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

WASP had a bad attitude with melodic songs, they sound hard and fast but very melodic. Blackie has a voice that only his image could fit, deep and very high range. This album almost did it as a classic, maybe if they had stayed together more time they would have been bigger.
The uptempo part of the CD is "I wanna be somebody", "L.O.V.E. Machine", "School daze", "On your knees", "The torture never stops", we have a very slow (at least for them) and very nice song "Sleeping (In the fire), and not as fast but very dark and crushing are "B.A.D.", "Tha flame", "Hellion", "Tormentor". The music on this CD is very diverse and enjoyable.

Artist : W.A.S.P.
Country : USA
Release : Animal (Fuck Like A Beast)
Year : 1984
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 192

Info:

Recorded in early 1984, the debut single intended for the self-titled album of W.A.S.P. was close to not being released at all after being dropped from the album. Deemed too controversial, Capitol Records did not want to risk the album being banned from major retail chains.
The record company had subsequent plans to release the single only in Europe, in a black plastic bag and with a warning sticker about the explicit lyrics. Capitol backed out at the last minute and the single was shelved until the band was able to strike a one-off publishing deal with the independent label Music For Nations.
The single was finally released in April 1984, complete with the original sleeve and art depicting a codpiece and a circular saw blade.
