Moving to Los Angeles Beauvoir, with the assistance of KISS' PAUL STANLEY and GENE SIMMONS in a management capacity,, put CROWN OF THORNS together, roping in ex-SHALAMAR guitarist Micki Free, CHIC, POWERSTATION and THE DISTANCE drummer Tony Thompson and Texan born bassist Michael Paige, the latter, who got the gig after CROWN OF THORNS had briefly worked with T.M. Stevens in the slot, is noted as a session player of some repute who would contribute to the recording of Canadian songstress SASS JORDAN's 'Rats' album during his time with CROWN OF THORNS.'Killer Thorns' is kinda a best of collection but includes some demo stuff of the band.
