The Terminator is a soundtrack album by Brad Fiedel, featuring the score to the 1984 film The Terminator. It was originally released on vinyl through Enigma Records, followed by a CD reissue on July 1, 1991 through DCC Compact Classics; a remastered edition entitled The Definitive Edition (with some versions having it spelled The Definite Edition) was reissued in 1994 through Edel AG, this time containing an extra thirteen tracks not included on the original version (whilst omitting the five pop tracks), as well as expanded liner notes.
