Back in the late 1980's came a sound from the Great North - Scarborough, to be exact. Banishing the shameful legacy of late 80's poodles, mullets and spandex they took up the charge for the NWONWOBHM - New Wave of New Wave of British Heavy Metal, along with the likes of Skin (the band - RIP), Thunder and the earlier incarnations of the Wildhearts and Quireboys. They did better than most - a number one album with Jam and a fair few top 30 singles too, all of which are on here. Trivial facts - Little Angels built up their following by touring schools in their early days, and were forced to change the name of their 3rd album from "Spitfire" to "Young Gods", the reason? The Gulf War of course! Although I dont personally remember many spitfires in 1990.. The music is top quality, especially the Young gods tracks, Boneyard/Product of the Working Class/I Aint Gonna Cry. If you care anything about British Rock buy this, and buy Young Gods too!!
