Bill Taylor was a native of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, with his music being very popular in the Pittsburgh area.
His band did include three ex members of Crack The Sky ;Witkowski, Macre and D'Amico.
The music is infectious pop rock, occasionally quirky, particularly debut, and when you hear its was produced by Donnie Iris and Mark Avsec, it makes sense.
"Quirky" does not mean "bad", just a slight variation on a theme, something Iris and Avsec were good at with The Cruisers, and latterly Avsecs, Cellar Full Of Noise.
Taylors following albums were more straight ahead aor/pop rock, something which will make the purists happy.
Two songs did make Billboard top 100 ; "Karen" and "Vitamin L".
"Our World" was the last "group" album, with Bill releasing 2 or 3 solo albums, but this time as a Christian artist.
None of the B.E. Taylor Groups albums have ever been officially released on CD, but there was a bootleg of "Our World", originating in Japan. Time to redress the balance!
