 Malmo Funk Rockers BEWARP recorded their first album, 1992's 'Funk'd, Rap't, Trash'd', with a line-up of guitarist Dick Bewarp, bassist Dan J Ekfeldt, ex-SLOPPY BABOONS and EMERAL vocalist Robert Vargqvist and drummer Anders Theander. The record first surfaced on Japan in September 1992 on the Alfa Brunette label, only scoring a European release during 1994.
Vargqvist left to join ESPINOZA and his able replacement was former MADISON, ALIEN and SNAKECHARMER frontman Pete Sandberg for second outing 'In Your Face'. Originally released in Japan on the Alfa Brunette label in July 1994 the record was re-mastered for European license through German label Bellaphon.
Sandberg issued a laid back solo album 'Back In Business' during 1997
