Adam Bomb (born Adam Brenner, 1963) is a guitarist and singer who has worked with several bands.
in 1982, at age 18, Adam auditioned for Kiss.[1] He flew to Los Angeles and played three songs with them, but was not invited to join the band. Instead, he moved to Hollywood and shared an apartment with Jeffrey Isbelle, better known as Izzy Stradlin. Adam quickly became friends with Tommy Thayer, a neighbor and guitarist for the rock band Black N' Blue (now guitarist in KISS), who suggested Adam should do his own project and call it Adam Bomb. In 1983, Adam recorded his first demos with producer Rick Keefer.[1] He also played two gigs with Steeler as a replacement for Yngwie Malmsteen. One year later, Adam recorded more songs with the aid of drummer Chuck Ruff of Montrose and bassist Cliff Williams of AC/DC and finalized his first album, Fatal Attraction.

Get Animal is a band that Adam Bomb put together under the name Pink Gibson. Adam Bomb has been rocking for years and has had some of rock's hottest players jam with him, including Little Steven, John Paul Jones and Michael Monroe!!
This CD features cover artwork with Mini Me grabbing his crotch while posing between two bloody pink guitars. Get Animal play catchy tunes with excellent guitar work. Adam's guitar playing is a cross of Ted Nugent and Eddie Van Halen on acid.
All the songs on this release are pure dirty and catchy chorus rock and roll. The Van Halen-ized "D.W.I." and the Grand Funk-esque opening riff of "Je T'aime Bebe" highlight Adam's blazing fretwork. Adam shows his influences on the AC/DC/Buckcherry sounding "Better Red Than Dead", and proves that older artists still know how to throw down, without sounding dated.
Adam Bomb has released albums and toured since the mid 80's, when I first witnessed him in support of his single "I Want My Heavy Metal" and with the Pure Sex album (featuring the Sigue Sigue Sputnik copped title track) and through this release, which I had the pleasure of witnessing him perform in Los Angeles en route to record in Hawaii. Live, Adam sweats, spits blood and sets his guitar on fire!!! He is one of the last great rock and roll performers I have seen recently.

Info:

Adam would record the infamous 'In Your Face' album with the Brad Sinsel led TKO, but by the time it was released the guitarist had long since quit the ranks in order to pursue a solo career. Brenner would lead an increasingly colourful career, pulling in private guitar lessons with Eddie Van Halen and auditioning for KISS whilst still in his teens. Having relocated to Los Angeles in 1982, and sharing an apartment with guitarist Jeff Isabelle (IZZY STRADLIN' of GUNS N' ROSES), Brenner's neighbour, BLACK N' BLUE guitarist Tommy Thayer, suggested a name change to 'Adam Bomb'.

1983 found Brenner performing in Hollywood with a reformed TKO and filling in with Ron Keel's STEELER for a departed YNGWIE MALMSTEEN. Gaining a deal with JVC Victor in Japan, Brenner's 'Fatal Attraction' debut album had been recorded with Hawaii based producer Rick Keefer. Keefer had previously produced TKO's 'In Your Face'. Released in 1984, the album was recorded with a guest appearance on the track 'I Want My Heavy Metal' from AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams, this track also being featured in a Danny Johnson directed video. Although Brenner supplied the majority of the instrumentation, drum tracks were played by either ex-SAMMY HAGAR man Chuck Ruff or ex-MAYDAY drummer Gregg Gerson. The latter individual was to later enjoy spells with the New York Sleaze band SKIN AND BONES and then Canadians SVEN GALI.

Having gained management from the Leber/Krebs organisation, Adam Bomb signed an American deal with Geffen Records. The 'Fatal Attraction' album was re-issued in 1985 with a different running order, with two tracks remixed and the addition of 'SST' and a cover of MOTT THE HOOPLE's 'All The Young Dudes'. A touring band was duly assembled featuring former AEROSMITH guitarist Jimmy Crespo and the ex-RIOT rhythm team of bassist Phil Feit and drummer Sandy Slavin.

Another deal with Geffen was hardly lengthy. Brenner recorded a second album in London, originally titled 'Dangerous When Lit', that would ultimately surface through the British independent label Heavy Metal Records' FM Revolver imprint. Whilst recording this album, Brenner took time out to guest session on a STEEL PULSE record, appearing on the Reggae band's cut 'Hijacking'.

1987 found Brenner recruiting the BILLY SQUIER credited Bobby Chouinard on drums for touring across Canada and France. That year the guitarist also donated two guest guitar solos to BLACK N' BLUE's 'Without Love' album. More touring had the band traversing Europe and supporting LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH in the USA. 1988 UK gigs found the rhythm section from LAST OF THE TEENAGE IDOLS being drafted to form up an ad hoc band unit. Relocating to Sweden, Brenner undertook a ten week residency at the Pipeline Club with NEW YORK DOLLS guitarist JOHNNY THUNDERS. Further gigs in North America and France closed the year.

Adam 'Bomb' Brenner had originally surfaced to the public at large as a member of the legendary Seattle Metal band TKO, having joined the group in the wake of the collapse of Infinity Records. TKO had recorded an album for the label and Brenner was recruited after the departure of guitarist Tony Bortko. However, he had already taken his first steps into the world of Rock n' Roll in the late seventies with TYRANT, a teen covers band that had been fronted by none other than latter day QUEENSRYCHE frontman GEOFF TATE.
