After the releases of Here Comes The Flood (2001) und Dreams For The
Daring (2003), Dream And Deliver will hit the shelves in Europe on
August 28th, 2008 through AOR Heaven. The record once again offers what
the fans of this five-piece love about them the most: high quality
musicianship, catchy arrangements and great refrains – “song-orientated
rock music with hit potential”, as guitarist Engelke describes the
band’s sound himself.
In the year 2008, Dreamtide still consists of
guitarist Helge Engelke, drummer CC Behrens, keyboard player Torsten
Luderwaldt and singer Olaf Senkbeil. Engelke, Behrens and Luderwaldt are
also members of the German Melodic Rock band Fair Warning. New in the
line-up is bassist Francis Buchholz who joined the group in 2007 when
replacing Thunderhead’s Ole Hempelmann. The skilled bass man is well
known for his time with the Scorpions which he was a member with until
1992. Buchholz and singer Olaf Senkbeil during the previous two years
also have been members of the band of guitarist Uli Jon Roth – another
former member of the Scorpions.

For those that are familiar with Helge Engelke, guitar player of two
years defunked "Fair Warning" (no, not the wanker Van Halen tribute
band, but the German masters), you would expect a great effort with his
new project "Dreamtide". What you get is a phenominal effort in "Here
Comes the Flood". Every note, lyric, and melody is penned by Engelke and
save for the second song on the album (what was he thinking), all are
immensely pleasurable to the ear. A few are clearly gems.

When Dreamtide’s first album “Here Comes The Flood” was released some
two years ago, many people compared it with Fair Warning’s output,
mainly due to the fact that the songs came from the mind of the same
person: guitarist Helge Engelke. His fans had to wait a (rather) long
period for this “Dreams For The Daring”, but the good/bad (make your own
choice) news is that it’s offering more of the same: mainly up-tempo,
epic and bombastic songs, full of melodies and hooks.

DREAMTIDE's newest release will probably track down your wants in
insight and deliver the wanted mix of Hard Rock, Melodic Rock and
'melodic' Metal you've searched for the last years. What started out as a
mere inquiry due to the band's lineup 'star(s)' eventually shines as a
great doze of songs equally capable of keeping 'choosy' company for a
long long time.
Two previous albums in the Frontiers label and you
already have a brief idea for what lurks herein. Created by FAIR WARNING
members Helge Engelke (mainly?), C.C. Behrens and Torstein Luederwaldt,
DREAMTIDE soon discovered they could fit the plan and release notable
albums. Ex-SCORPIONS bassman Francis Buchholz replaced (once in) TALON's
Ole Hempelman in 2007 and - sooner or later- it was time for the third
(and most crucial, to many) strike called Dream And Deliver.
