Artist : Zandelle
Country : USA
Release : Twilight On Humanity
Year : 2002
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Finally, a band from America that isn't afraid to play True Metal. A singer who can actually sing and doesn't just yell into the microphone, or worse yet...rap (yuck!). The songs all tell stories that captivate the listener and bring him on an amazing ride through various worlds. Songs with structures that change and don't remain stagnant throughout, yet flow perfectly from one section of the song to the next. And of course, the in-your-face anthom! This is indeed a complete Metal album in my book. Can't wait to hear the next release from this band! ZANDELLE RULES!!!

Artist : Zandelle
Country : USA
Release : Shadows Of The Past
Year : 2011
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Now for 15 years ZANDELLE from New York City play melodic Power Metal with striking high-pitched-vocals, decent keyboard-influences and many double bass-parts, which unites the European and the US-American sound harmonically. They were founded by singer George Tsalikis, after he left his predecessor-band Gothic Knights.
Already the most actual studio-album „Flames Of Rage“ was released through Pure Steel Records in 2009, with „Shadows Of The Past“ now there is a compilation, which has got four songs of the first, self-titled EP from 1996 and six songs of the 1998 released debut-album „Shadows Of Reality“, which are nearly impossible to get today. All of them are re-recorded. In addition to that with “Unleashed” (originally recorded for the in 2006 released “Vengeance Rising”-album, but never released before), “Scream My Name” (a brand new song) and the Whitesnake-cover “Bad Boys”, there are three bonus tracks on it. The second CD contains all tracks in the original versions from 1996 and 1998. In relation to newer outputs, which got a more European touch, on their first two outputs ZANDELLE sounded more US-American and also the keyboard-parts were more in the background. The production had a dryer sound than nowadays, but this wasn’t even changed really with the re-recordings.
A very interesting time-document, which proves, that also in the second half of the 90s there have been some bands, which played flawless, true Heavy Metal!

Artist : Zandelle
Country : USA
Release : Vengeance Rising
Year : 2006
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Vengence Rising is in True Heavy Metal form.
The lead guitarist(Anthony Maglio)shreds, with killer harmonies and amazing virtuosity. The vocals are pure with heart. The vocalist
(George Tsalikis) voice is in top form with a lower register than the previous album, however you can expect the searing high notes and occassional metal screams. The Bass and Drums are tight, pure adrenaline from start to finish!!! Sonically, this album sounds amazing. Pump this album on your speakers or headphones and you will hear a great mix, and all the dynamics and frquencies of all the vocals and instruments.
In summary...This album Rocks!!!!

Artist : Zandelle
Country : USA
Release : Flames Of Rage
Year : 2009
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

With the shortest song counting five minutes, you'll be trapped in a typhoon of blistering guitar riffs, sharp metallic leads and energetic rhythm section while listening to Flames Of Rage. Be it the reborn lineup or Tsalikis' creativity, the whole songlist - omit the last one - breathes fire and outburst. With some really rich/complex themes, still far away from being called as progressive (or maybe that's what progression means in Metal music?), ZANDELLE succeeds in creating a 'steel meets steel' atmosphere that surely draws influence from the American Metal standards (JAG PANZER, MANOWAR, HELSTAR, ICED EARTH etc) but also flirts a lot with the European side of metallum (JUDAS PRIEST, GAMMA RAY, early HELLOWEEN).
The result is rather furious, to cut a long story short. Still, the album is not as in-your-face as you may imagine. Depending on Tsalikis' singing or the leads themes, Flames Of Rage can also act as a sample of the theatric or epic side of solid Metal music.
