10. Living Dead (Bonus Track)

Artist :       Hypocrisy
Country :     Sweden
Release :     End Of Disclosure [Limited Edition]
Year :           2013
Genre :       Heavy Metal
File Type :   mp3 320

Info:

When it comes to creative genius within metal, Peter Tagtgren ranks amongst the elite in my books. He's carried Hypocrisy for over 20 years and cemented their status as Swedish death metal legends. At this point, it can be argued that a Hypocrisy release does not really need an introduction, but I was intrigued when it was announced that End of Disclosure would mark a bit of a 'return' to their 'classic sound' after the competent but uneventful A Taste of Extreme Divinity.

Artist : Hypocrisy
Country : Sweden
Release : Catch 22 [Japan Edition]
Year : 2008
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

This album has already become one of my favorites. Many consider it nu-metal influenced but it isn't IMO. I hate all this "nu metal" stuff, and I honestly like this CD. Sure, it's different than all the other Hypocrisy albums, but that's what makes them an exciting band. The songs are well written, and you can tell that they spent a lot of time on this one. Hypocrisy does what they want, and if they did what some of the "hardcore" fans always demand, then they wouldn't be free to do as they please.

Artist : Hypocrisy
Country : Sweden
Release : A Taste Of Extreme Divinity [Reissue]
Year : 2009
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

There is a crushing sound that really calls back to the early days of hypocrisy (before peter was on vox) and a mix of everything since that really pulls together for something that is in one word...Amazing. before this album i really dug hypocrisy's penchant for mid tempo songs(see "abducted" or "the final chapter"), but with this new offering (the bands 11th in case anyone didn't know), they are completely "full speed ahead". at times sounding "black metallish" thanks in part to relative new comer "horgh" (of immortal fame). furious rhythms and blinding double bass are very prevalent on this album only slowing down on a few tracks like, "global domination" and "the quest", bringing back that mid tempo pacing that really sets this band apart from other death metal acts. songs like "weed out the weak" and "valley of the damned" are out of the gate head banger's, making these two the bench mark for this release.
