Info:

Well, the Motleys really need an at least good album to get out of the lake of mediocrity and the new millenium opened for them in the most appropriate way with "New Tattoo". Without Tommy Lee still, but this didn't seem to influence them since Randy Castillo did a really good job on the drumming factor. After a decade of doing just nothing or releasing bad albums "New Tattoo" appeared as a Messiah for the band and inspiration stuck on them for one more time like a "new tattoo" indeed!

The guitars sound once again inspired and the riffing is really good and above all... dirty! From time time the riffing ends into really beautiful and good-sounding and well-executed guitar solos that make the song roll even more! Apparently, the guitar work is really good and it's a strong reason to try and forget the "Motley Crue" and "Generation Swine", let's say, releases. The rhythm section plays its role really well, lending that "bad boy boogie" groove the band requires in the most appropriate way. The vocals remain dirty and Vince Neil shows that no matter how many years may pass he still is one of the most wonderful vocalists out there when it comes to glam/sleaze hard rock! You put all these elements together, along with good song-writing and a mood to come back to the top and forget the blurry 90s, and you get "New Tattoo", an album that brought back the hope to the hearts of the Motley Crue fan base that the band will offer something strong in the forthcoming future.
