Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : Assassins Of War Year : 2007 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Assassins of War again sticks with the tried and true. However, this
incarnation of Hirax does so with precision and power; the band picks up
where it left off with 2004's strong comeback, The New Age of Terror.
At 21 minutes, this EP feels skimpy, but at least it leaves one wanting
more.

Artist : Hirax Country : USA Release : The New Age Of Terror [Reissue] Year : 2004 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
The Punk influences are almost gone, for that king Thrash Metal reigns
with a steel fist. 80s Thrash Metal by the pioneers for the whole
dirty, rotten mob out there in the world. Really, only people, who had
been part of it back then already (in which form ever), can convey such
an authentic feeling. HIRAX perfectly transport the feeling of the
Eighties into the new millennium, without sounding old-fashioned or
dusty.
The CD cannot fully compete with EXODUS ''Tempo Of The
Damned'', but it mercilessly blows the last DESTRUCTION albums against
the wall (sorry, Schmier, it?s like that). Who thinks that newer bands
such as THE HAUNTED und co. sound too sterile and lack feeling or still
wait that SLAYER will go back to their roots, should get this
thunderclap right away.
