Artist : Septic Flesh
Country : Greece
Release : Communion [Japan Edition]
Year : 2008
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Communion really finds the band at it’s best when they mix things up. Some songs rage with speed and brute force while others slow down and possess an overall more melodic feel than the others. Fortunately none of the songs sound out of place or forced when they begin to experiment. At the base, the album is death metal with a surge of melody sweeping the corner. Around the base is the blaring orchestra that takes the music to another level. Sharp edged riffing tears away with speed and aggression when soon enough, the duo begin to slow down and play some infectious melodies.

13. Phallic Litanies (Unreleased Mix) (Bonus Track)
14. On The Topmost Step Of The Earth (Unreleased Mix) (Bonus Track)

Artist : Septic Flesh
Country : Greece
Release : Ophidian Wheel [Remastered]
Year : 1997
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

This third Septicflesh reissue is considered gothic metal by the label, but there’s definitely a good bite of death metal still to be had here in between the classical landscapes and operatic elements that find their way into this interestingly intriguing mix. To date, no other artists have created an album with the amount of unparalleled class and style that you’ll find here. “The Future Belongs To The Brave” merely brings a shadow of what is to come much later on the release in the form of Natalie Rassoulis, who shows an unexpected operatic edge to the music with her angelically soft vocals. It’s almost like a devil and angel duet in some places, clearly being influenced by Paradise Lost as noted. “The Ophidian Wheel” itself is a dead-ringer for the Gothic album, of that there’s no doubt. But then we have the intrigue of “Phallic Litanies” which introduces the use of early synths that almost sound a bit like the era of classic gaming. However, that opens for a product that does great justice to the traditional gothic metal genre, before the days when death metal elements were far removed and the genre strained of its dignity.

Artist : Septic Flesh
Country : Greece
Release : Mystic Places Of Dawn [Reissue]
Year : 1994
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

“Mystic Places Of Dawn”, debut album of SEPTIC FLESH (today SEPTICFLESH) is, without any doubt, one of the most impressive extreme Metal records of the 90s. SEPTIC FLESH in this album unleashed all of their Death Metal brutality, enriched with quite a few Doom / Death moments and experimentation with keyboards and atmospheres. When you think that this album was actually released back in 1994 it is quite impressive how many different influences the band had.

Artist : Septic Flesh
Country : Greece
Release : Esoptron [Remastered]
Year : 1995
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

This reissue is a strong reminder of SEPTICFLESH early days, it contains all eleven songs of original "Esoptron" album plus three bonus tracks two of them played on l Live In Lille back in 1999. Nothing of this material might be fresh but nevertheless you can’t deny that is the right time to rediscover the sheer strength of aged atmospheric Death Metal.

The Eldest Cosmonaut is a mini album or just a single release. It was released from Holy Records in 1998, shortly after the album A Fallen Temple.

11. The Last Time (Paradise Lost Cover) (Bonus Track)
12. Underworld - Act 3 (Bonus Track)
13. Finale (Bonus Track)
14. The Eldest Cosmonaut (Video Remix) (Bonus Track)

Artist : Septic Flesh
Country : Greece
Release : A Fallen Temple [Remastered]
Year : 1998
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

A much-needed reissue, this period of SEPTICFLESH's discography is unfortunately overlooked and underrated. Originally released in 1998, "A Fallen Temple" marked a significant step away from the bombastic sounds of Death and Black Metal; although some of those vibes were still present on the 1998 release, the album took to an almost completely gothic metal sound. A greater emphasis was put on clean vocals and keyboards arrangements; melodic patterns themselves were less so horror and 'black' oriented, than they were sorrowful and mournful.
