Genre :       Hard Rock
File Type :   mp3 320

Info:

Founded by guitarist Steve Plunkett, who had previously played with, among others, Neal Schon in Silver Condor, Autograph burst onto the scene in 1983. Their Neil Kernon-produced debut "Sign In Please" went gold and platinum, selling over 700,000 copies in the US alone. "Turn up the radio" shot into the US Billboard Top 30 chart.... but so much for past history, today's scene looks somewhat different to put it mildly. Despite all this Steve Plunkett has come up with a real killer of a rock album, brimming with hooks, yet incorporating hip and modern influences in remarkably successful fashion. Fluid, grooving guitar riffs and melodic choruses ( "Heart Raper" is awesome) are never far away and jive with the superlative production. There is a distinct Def Leppard-style sound to much of the album, with similarities in the song structures that cannot be ignored, but this only enhances the overall listening experience. Its been twenty years since the debut and Autograph are back, better than ever ! In a word, a superb album ! Fans left disappointed by the last Def Leppard album should get their rocks off on this.....

TRACKLIST:

Band : Autograph
Country : USA
Release : Missing Pieces
Year : 1997
Genre : Hard Rock
File Info : mp3 320

Info:

Steve Plunkett released these songs that were raw versions of songs that didn't make any of their three rca cds. Typical rockin' Autograph material, good guitars. If you were into what Autograph did in their cd releases then you'll love this one, it adds to your Autograph collection nicely. Although I think the raw version of Turn up the Radio is kind of weak or sub par recording, all of the other trax rock in Autograph style. Sure do wish he put the two soundtrack songs on it "You can't hide from the beast inside of you"- from the Fright Night movie Soundtrack, and a great rocker "winning"- from the Youngblood Movie Soundtrack, but he didn't and you'll have to own these two cds to have the full Autograph collection. And for anyone wanting an excellent hard rock/metal cd get - Victory-"Voiceprint" it is just plain great and these guys still rock with the metal sound of the 80's and early 90's, believe me if you like Dokken, Ratt, Warrant from the 80's early 90's you will love this!
