Artist : Alice Cooper
Country : USA
Release : Welcome To My Nightmare [Remastered]
Year : 1975
Genre : Hard Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

A new era starts for Alice. Gone is the original band as Alice goes solo teaming up once again with producer Bob Ezrin and new co-writer guitarist Dick Wagner to create Alice's vision of grand rock theater. "Nightmare" is considered a classic by most Cooper fans and indeed it is a great album albeit different from what his fans at the time might have been used to. The album is a concept piece revolving around the main character "Steven" (who is really Alice) sleeping through a nightmare...........or is it real? This album was conceived and written for the stage as Alice took a full theatrical production of this work on the road. Part rock, theater, Broadway, ballads, and even jazzy at times "Nightmare" covers a lot of ground. Several huge hits came from this album and they are all good ones. The title track with its horn section blaring out the main theme is very different from anything The Alice Cooper Band ever did. "Only Women Bleed" was Alice's first hit ballad.

Artist : Alice Cooper
Country : USA
Release : Killer
Year : 1971
Genre : Hard Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

The Alice Cooper Band put out some of the best rock of the 70's and 'Killer' is one of the best albums of the decade. I won't bother going thru the individual songs, there are other reviews that do that very well, but suffice it to say Alice is in top form vocally, and the individual songs on 'Killer' are so strong and memorable, excellent guitar and keyboard work by Michael Bruce and Glen Buxton give each song a personality. But it's the backbone of the band, the bass by Dennis Dunaway and drums by Neal Smith that are worth the price of the disk. Dunaway's bass lines on songs like 'Halo of Flies' and 'Dead Babies' are so crisp and really drive the songs. This is Dunaway's best album outside of 'Love it to Death'. Neal Smith's drumming on the entire album is just amazing.

Artist : Alice Cooper
Country : USA
Release : Alice Cooper Goes To Hell
Year : 1976
Genre : Hard Rock

Info:

Even though 'Alice Cooper Goes To Hell' is very soft and ballad filled, it has some outstanding guitar work by Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter. Just listen to incredible guitar solo on Wish you were here and guitar riffs on Go to hell.

Artist : Alice Cooper
Country : USA
Release : Billion Dollar Babies [Deluxe Edition]
Year : 1971
Genre : Hard Rock
File Type : mp3 320

Info:

Another job well done by Rhino! In addition to digitally remastering the original album, Rhino included a bonus live disc from the "Babies" tour in 1973. Plus there are three previousely unreleased songs including an outtake of my favorite track, "Generation Landslide". AND THAT'S NOT ALL...you also get a 24 page booklet with lyrics, photos and a very well-written and entertaining essay calling this "one of the best rock 'n' roll records of all time, up there with London Calling, Nevermind and Revolver". These liner notes also do a great job giving credit to the genius behind Alice...Bob Ezrin. This album was Alice at his peak, the last one with the original band. It also contains perhaps the greatest love song ever recorded..."I Love The Dead".

Band : Alice Cooper
Country : USA
Release : Trash [Japan Edition]
Year : 1989
Genre : Hard Rock
File Info : mp3 320

Info:

The album featured "Poison", Cooper's first top ten hit since his single "You And Me" in 1977. After Alice's return to the music industry in 1986 with the successful tour "The Nightmare Returns", Cooper had sought assistance from Desmond Child to create a comeback album. Trash became one of Cooper's biggest albums, accompanied by music videos for "Poison", "Bed of Nails", "House of Fire", and "Only My Heart Talkin'". A successful year-long worldwide concert tour in support of the album was documented in the home video release Alice Cooper Trashes The World. Additionally, much of the album conveys a sexual theme.
