Sodom is the eleventh album by German thrash metal band Sodom,

includes a full-colour poster of the artwork. "The album is
self-titled," Tom Angelripper explains, "because every band needs a
self-titled album."

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : Persecution Mania [Japan Edition] Year : 1987 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Sodom entered Berlin's Musiclab Studios in October of 1987 and layed
down the tracks for their blistering second full length "Persecution
Mania." German thrash was at this time where the speed and heaviness was
at in the pre-death metal era, as Kreator had proved the year before on
their seminal "Pleasure to Kill" opus, which was also cut at Musiclab
and under the direction of the same producer, Harris Johns. So it's
natural that Sodom here recall their countrymen on that record quite a
bit, but that's definitely not a bad thing now is it?

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : 'Til Death Do Us Unite [Japan Edition] Year : 1997 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
I would say that this album contains a combination of the AWESOME
'Masquerade in Blood' mixed with the OK 'Get What You Deserve.' And even
though 'Get What....' was just OK, don't fear, this album is a lot
better!! Stand out tracks are "Frozen Screams", "No Way Out", "Suicidal
Justice", "Schwerter Zu Pflugscharen", "Sow the Seeds of Discord", &
"Wander in the Valley."

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : Get What You Deserve [Japan Edition] Year : 1994 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
So after SODOM had moved towards a cleaner and decidedly less
Thrashier sound on their last two albums (although both were still quite
good) it was only a matter of time for them to push back towards their
roots. And ''Get What You Deserve'' is exactly that. SODOM returns
towards a Punkier and stripped down version of their music for this
release. But unfortunately, it doesn't pay off as much as they would
have hoped.

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : Better Off Dead [Japan Edition] Year : 1990 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
ok it might not have riffs as memorable in persecution mania or even
agent orange, but it is a rock solid album and very enjoyable too. all
songs are heavy and kick [butt] and not too many fast ones (actually the
sound is more mature than that in their earlier releases).

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : Aber Bitte Mit Sahne! [Japan Edition] Year : 1993 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Aber Bitte mit Sahne is an EP by Sodom. The title track is a cover of
the 1975 song of the same name by the Austrian chansonier Udo Jurgens.

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : In War And Pieces Year : 2010 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Staying close to the sound and formula from their eponymous 2007
release, In War and Pieces finds Sodom crafting short and ugly thrash
tunes that remain faithful to the NWOGTM they helped create along with
Kreator and Destruction, while also modernizing the sound to acknowledge
that it’s not 1986 anymore.

TRACKLIST:
Artist : Lake Of Tears Country : Sweden Release : Forever Autumn Year : 1999 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
The most instrumentally dense, musically accomplished release from
Lake of Tears, Forever Autumn is probably the group's finest
accomplishment. With its metal-cum-folk dramatics and melancholy
harmonicas, Lake of Tears draws what must be an unintended comparison to
American alt-rock prankster outfitWeen. It's very doubtful that members
of either band even heard of -- much less listened to -- the other, but
Forever Autumn's high-contrast folk/prog/metal (especially the sedate
and conversational vocals on tracks like "The Homecoming") bears an
eerie comparison to many a Ween classic. All random musical associations
aside, the dense, well-arranged "So Fell Autumn Rain," "Hold on Tight,"
and "To Blossom Blue" stand out as career bests for Lake of Tears.
Listening to Lake of Tears' mid-'90s work, it would have been hard to
guess that the group could assemble a recording this realized and
well-performed by the end of the decade. That said, Forever Autumn is
very far from being a superior rock or metal recording. It is simply a
fine effort from a lesser '90s Euro-metal band.
TRACKLIST:
Artist : Lake Of Tears Country : Sweden Release : Greater Art Year : 1994 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
This Lake of Tears album is heavier than the others. The music is more
up tempo but still very strong, and there aren't any acoustic pieces,
like with Forever Autumn and the like. The vocals aren't as clean, he
growls a little, but they never reach a real death metal style, even
though LoT often gets lumped in with death/doom bands.

Artist : Lake Of Tears Country : Sweden Release : Moons And Mushrooms Year : 2007 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Moons and Mushrooms is the seventh studio album by the gothic metal
band Lake of Tears. It was released in 2007, and was the first Lake of
Tears recording to feature Magnus Sahlgren as an official member of the
band (although he had played guitar with Lake of Tears as a guest artist
since 1999). Unlike the band's previous two albums, Moons and Mushrooms
made heavy use of guitars, having a less electronic sound. A limited
edition digipack version of the album was released alongside the
standard version, featuring a cover of the Status Quo song "Is There a
Better Way?" as a bonus track.
TRACKLIST:
Artist : Lake Of Tears Country : Sweden Release : The Neonai Year : 2002 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
The good thing is that Lake Of Tears haven't lost what makes them
great, the melancholic aspect in the music, catchy or doomy, each song
has an unexplainable sadness vibe, maybe is the vocals of Daniel
Brennare, maybe is the angelic female vocals, or maybe is just that Lake
Of tears know how to do their job.
A experimental album for Lake Of
tears, maybe not all fans of the band will like this, especially the
ones that love the first 2 records, but lake Of Tears have moved on,
never expect that a band will continue to do the same music for 10 years
in a row, quoting Charles Darwin, It's Evolution Baby!

Morifade finally gets a chance to show American metal fans that Tad
Morose isn't the only Swedish band deserving of their attention in early
2004. (Never mind that Morifade keyboard player Fredrik "Frippe"
Eriksson was once a member of Tad Morose.) DomiNation, Morifade's third
full-length CD but the first one readily available in the United States,
is a melodic progressive-metal tour de force branded with rousing group
vocals, aggressive song structures and complex instrumentation.

Artist : Hellion (Los Angeles) Artist Origin : USA Release Title : The Black Book Release Year : 1991 Artist Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Compared to all of their previous releases, this is the way they
should have all sounded! The mix and production is far better than those
before it so it really sounds right at home cranked like good power
metal should be! If you want honest to goodness incredibly wicked
vocals, synchronized crunching duel guitar-work with polished solos, and
tight hard hitting drums (listen to the double-bass mastery of 'The
Warning') that are delivered direct from a time when it was a do-or-die
way of life for many, it doesn't get much better than this album! You'd
be hard-pressed to find a vocalist that can keep up with Ann Boleyn's
incredible power and range, or guitar virtuosity of Chet Thompson (who
was private schooled by Randy Rhoads) - A definite 'must' in your
old-school metal collection!

Artist : Impellitteri Country : USA Release : Stand In Line Year : 1988 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
It's 1988 and Impellitteri has a completely new band including Graham
Bonnet, who has also sang for MSG, Rainbow and Alcatrazz, keyboardist
Phil Wolfe, ex-Quiet Riot/Ted Nugent bassist Chuck Wright, and ex-Ted
Nugent drummer Pat Torpey. The music is an obvious attempt at commercial
success, so much so that there is even a cover of Rainbow's "Since
You've Been Gone" that Bonnet sang on originally. Of all the
Impellitteri discs I own, this is my least favorite, but it is also his
most well known. After this disc Graham Bonnet would split and
Impellitteri would hook back up with original singer Rob Rock.

Artist : Sodom Country : Germany Release : Tapping The Vein [Japan Edition] Year : 1992 Genre : Heavy Metal File Type : mp3 320 Info:
Tapping The Vein became more like a death-metal album, Sodom still
manages to display raw thrash-metal. Definitely Sodom's heaviest and
fastest album.
Warrior
returns with yet another new, well-known singer, this time with the
slot being occupied by former Krokus frontman Marc Storace. The years
have been kind to him, as he does a pretty good job overall. Musically
the style and feel is very similar to the band's past couple of
releases, as there is good distortion and energy throughout. Consistent
"Warrior" metal, once again.
The chuggy and flowing title track is a
top highlight, as is the nonstop "Naked Aggression." "Hypocrite" has a
tough attitude, and the majority of the other selections have their
strong points as well, with "Love Above All" being a chunky notable.

Artist : Precious Death
Country : USA
Release : Southpaw
Year : 1993
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320
Info:
"Southpaw" is fabulous - a masterpeace! After wearing out their "Our
Stinking Demo" tape, I was anxious to get the full length disc, which
only has one song off the demo ("Force Fed"). The first song starts out
with a HEAVY Metallica crunch but mixes in the extraordinary vocals of
Chris Scott, who is one of the most unique vocalists ever. "Shine"
totally changes style, going for a heavy funk sound mixing it with
California thrash.

Artist : Precious Death

Release : Precious Death
Year : 1996
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320
Info:
This album just sucks! I can't even believe this is the same band that
recorded the brilliant "Southpaw" and "Our Stinking Demo." First of all
Chris Scott has decided that he no longer sings metal and joined a
crappy alternative band called Blackball. He is on this album, but I
hardly call it singing when compared to the last two albums. He even
raps on "All We Have Is Now" and "Another Form of Slavery." Second, band
leader, song writer Roger Sampson is gone as is bassist Andy Kohler
(Although Andy does have one song writing credit on this album.). Last,
this is just bad alternative music. Where are the chunky riffs, the
funky bass. Argh! I'm just frustrated but I am glad that this was their
last album if this was the direction they planned on going in.

Country : USA
Release : If You Must
Year : 1994
Genre : Heavy Metal
File Type : mp3 320
Info:
With this album, Precious Death brings in some new influences.
Unfortunately for Precious Death they struggled in the Los Angeles metal
underground for years before finally scoring a record contract in 1993.
During those years in the underground heavy metal was still
flourishing. By the time "If You Must" was being recorded, heavy metal
had lost it's legs in the mainstream to grunge and alternative. Pantera
were one of the few heavy metal bands still making waves in the
mainstream at this time and were obviously a huge influence on Precious
Death. Fortunately for Precious Death their sound and their vocalist
were already far removed from the angry Pantera sound, so mixing that
influence in does not get them pegged as a clone. However, that heavy
groove element is present in many of the songs. "Some New Song" is a
perfect example of that fat, heavy groove. The 'funk' element that was
present on some songs on "Southpaw" is still mixed throughout here as
well. On "Outside My Window", for example, the band weaves a musical
tapestry by combining funky verses with a heavy crunch for the chorus.
Christopher Scott still sings like no one else and Roger Sampson's
killer drum work is still present. These two guys help to give this band
a charisma that is unlike any other band I know of. My favorite cuts
are "Some New Song", "I Remember", "So Far Away" and the somewhat
bizarre "Moments." "I Remember" is an acoustic ballad in which Chris
simply wails on with his power-house voice.
